For 2023’s Special Releases, Malt Master Dr. Stuart Morrison has drawn inspiration from an eclectic mix of sources from around the world to celebrate the cultural exchange of ideas. The Jazz Crescendo is Clynelish’s signature honey and waxy character at its finest. Matured solely within American oak bourbon casks for a decade, the expression boasts all the sweet and soulful richness of classic American jazz. Presented at 57.5% abv.
Maritime aromas come first on the nose, before becoming sweeter and rounder with notes of caramel and vanilla bean. The palate sings with powerful vanilla sweetness and spice, and hints of salt and pepper that reach its smooth crescendo in the long, spicy finish.
