Introducing Laphroaig Elements 3.0, the third instalment in the pioneering Laphroaig Element series, which explores the boundaries of single malt craftsmanship. Born from an unplanned kiln fire that led to unusually high peat-burning temperatures, this edition offers an intense distillation of Laphroaig’s iconicly bold character. While innovation in whisky typically centres around cask maturation, Elements 3.0 stands apart by focusing on distillation, revealing new flavour dimensions. Crafted on Islay and fully matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, this is a specialist malt for those ready to explore the exceptional.
With an abv of 55.3%, expect layers of smouldering peat, dark chocolate, citrus, and brine on the nose, and a rich palate of cocoa, fruit, and crème brûlée.
