Process & Profile
Wyoming Whiskey Outryder American Whiskey is a distinctive 100 proof straight American whiskey from Wyoming Whiskey in Kirby, Wyoming. Named for the outrider who stands apart from the herd, this bottle is designed to stand apart from standard bourbon and rye categories by blending high-rye bourbon with rye whiskey into a balanced, rye-forward American whiskey profile.
Outryder is aged five years and bottled at 100 proof, giving it enough strength for sipping and cocktails while keeping the profile smooth and approachable. The whiskey combines the sweetness and body of bourbon with the aromatic spice of rye, creating a layered profile of baked fruit, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate hazelnut, candied walnuts, and rye spice.
Earlier Outryder production is widely associated with two mash bills: one made from 48% winter rye, 40% corn, and 12% malted barley, and another bourbon-style mash bill made from 68% corn, 20% winter rye, and 12% malted barley. Wyoming Whiskey uses non-GMO grains grown in Wyoming, reinforcing the brand’s grain-to-glass identity and connection to the Bighorn Basin. For customers looking for a craft American whiskey with both bourbon sweetness and rye spice, Outryder offers a unique and flavorful pour.

How to Enjoy
Wyoming Whiskey Outryder American Whiskey is best enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube to appreciate its balance of bourbon sweetness and rye spice. Let it rest briefly in the glass so the caramel, brown sugar, baked fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, and oak notes can open.
For cocktails, Outryder works especially well in a Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Boulevardier, Whiskey Sour, or rye-style highball. Its 100 proof structure helps it stand up to bitters, citrus, vermouth, and sweeteners, while the rye component adds spice and lift. It also pairs well with smoked meats, barbecue, dark chocolate, pecan pie, aged cheddar, and apple desserts with cinnamon.
