Hand-selected by the team at The Whisky Shop Piccadilly and bottled at 115 US full proof (57% abv), this bourbon was drawn from a single cask. Hailing from the revered Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky, W.L. Weller is the original wheated bourbon. Only 210 bottles exist, exclusive to us at The Whisky Shop.
Expect to encounter notes of fresh vanilla, blackberry jam and buttered popcorn on the nose. The palate will unleash an array of caramelised delights including candy floss and toffee apples, before a finish of custard and gentle cinnamon. Try it with a drop of water to unlock some hidden notes including maple syrup and crème Brulé.
