Process & Profile
Tequila Ocho Extra Añejo San Jerónimo Estate 2023 showcases agave from a single Highland field near Arandas, where rocky terrain and rich red soil help shape the estate’s character. Ocho’s production process uses slowly roasted agave, brick ovens and fermentation with natural airborne yeast to preserve an agave-focused profile. Three years of maturation in American oak barrels add depth and complexity. The resulting tequila combines caramel and coffee notes with herbs, minerality and a sweet cooked-agave finish.

How to Enjoy
Serve neat in a tulip-shaped tequila glass at room temperature. Let the pour rest briefly, then explore how the coffee, caramel, herbs and agave develop. A few drops of water offer another way to examine the balance.
For a pairing, try dark chocolate, roasted nuts or a small serving of caramel-based dessert. A large ice cube provides a cooler alternative with gradual dilution.
