Sur de los Andes Malbec

Tasting Notes and Characteristics:Sur de los Andes Malbec greets the palate with a plush, velvety texture that makes it an inviting choice for cozy dinners or celebratory gatherings. With an ABV of 14%, this Argentine wine is crafted from hand-harvested Malbec grapes grown in the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza, where cool nights and sunny days help develop rich flavors and balanced acidity. In the glass, you’ll find deep notes of ripe blackberry, plum, and hints of violet layered with subtle touches of cocoa and spice from oak aging. These bold yet refined flavors make it a perfect match for grilled steak, as the wine’s tannins complement the meat’s charred exterior while its fruitiness balances savory richness. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheddar, enhancing both the cheese’s sharpness and the wine’s dark fruit character.Producer Information: Sur de los AndesSur de los Andes is based in Mendoza, Argentina, a region celebrated for its high-altitude vineyards and ideal grape-growing conditions.
