- Cask: Oloroso sherry butt No. 30087 (coopered late 1996 at Antonio Páez Lobato Cooperage, Jerez region) — toasted and seasoned with Oloroso sherry for ~2 years at Páez Morilla Bodega, then filled at Midleton Distillery in early 1999.
- Maturation: 16 years, 147 days in warehouse M15A at Midleton (filled early 1999 — bottled August 2015).

- Release: February 2016 (selected by Billy Leighton, Head Blender, and The Whisky Exchange team)

Tasting Notes
- Nose: Blackened fruit cake, matchbox/lighting strip, coal dust, burnt raisins, prunes, dates; faint crushed mint and cracked black pepper. With water: old leather, espresso, Brazil nuts, pecan pie.
- Palate: Full-bodied; sulphury matchbox/lighting-strip character and black pepper spice with blackstrap molasses, vanilla, coal dust and sweet liquorice. With water: sweeter, better balanced, releases blackcurrant jam.
- Finish: Dry — charcoal, burnt raisin, liquorice, faint tobacco leaf (especially with water).
