Normandin-Mercier “Mont Blanc” – Les Sommets du Cognac
Mont Blanc rises to 4 808 m; this single-cask Cognac climbs to the same altitude in alcohol: 48.08 %. Drawn straight from the barrel—never blended, reduced or adjusted—“Mont Blanc” embodies the Les Sommets du Cognac philosophy: raw strength, pristine character, and absolute clarity of origin.
Selected from a lone Fins Bois cask, the spirit spent decades quietly evolving until its amber colour mirrored the setting sun on alpine snow. No additives, no dilution—just time and expertise revealing depth and balance.
Presentation of the bottle
The tall, clear bottle carries a minimalist label stamped with a stylised peak, its altitude highlighted in silver. A natural cork and deep blue wax seal recall the mountain sky, while the batch number is handwritten to underline the small-batch release.
How to drink
Savour neat in a tulip glass at room temperature to appreciate the full 48 % vigour. A single drop of water unlocks extra layers of cocoa and red-fruit compote. Pair with roasted nuts, aged Comté, or a square of 70 % dark chocolate to echo its pastry-and-spice profile.
