Le Réviseur Extra Origin Cognac
Le Reviseur Extra Origin Cognac is a truly exceptional blend created by Cellar Master, Chriistian Guerin. An award winning blend, produced solely from eaux-de-vie from the Petite Champagne terroir. This Cognac has undergone an extraordinarily long aging process, allowing the alcohol content to develop naturally through time and the evaporation of ‘The Angel’s Share’. This cask strength Cognac is delightfully complex, yet natural and subtle. With its powerful and fruity aromas, this Extra Cognac takes the drinker on a voyage of the senses – it is definitely one to enjoy when you have time to appreciate the journey. A stunning Cognac that appeals to the connoisseur.
Le Reviseur estate spreads over 90 hectares at the heart of the Petite Champagne, and they are particularly proud of the results. The strong aromatics of the eaux-de-vie is due to the distillation process that takes place in very small stills of 1600 liters, and aging in dry cellars. It is this process that enables the Cognacs of Reviseur to stand out as quality blends of great value for money.
Presentation of the bottle
Housed in a beautiful decanter, the presentation resembles that of an elegant perfume bottle. Revealing round curves and a heavy base, the design has been carefully executed in elegant fashion. Finished with a stunning glass stopper, time and patience has gone into every last detail of not just production of the Cognac inside, but the final imagery too. A magnificent gift to someone who appreciates fine Cognac and revels in life’s luxuries.
How to enjoy
Unveiling a delicate palate and a long finish, this Cognac is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. Pour into a tulip glass, leaving the Cognac to breathe for a few moments before the tasting. By tasting through a tulip glass, the aromas are permitted to evolve with utmost potential. Pair with a fine cigar to take the tasting to the next dimension.
