Chic Barcelona Brut

Tasting Notes and Characteristics:Chic Barcelona Brut greets the palate with a lively, refreshing sparkle that makes it perfect for celebrations or casual gatherings alike. With an ABV of 11.5%, this Spanish sparkling wine is crafted using the traditional method, primarily from native grapes like Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada. Its roots in Spain’s Penedès region give it a vibrant character and approachable style that suits both festive toasts and relaxed evenings. On tasting, Chic Barcelona Brut reveals crisp notes of green apple, citrus zest, and subtle hints of white flowers. The fine bubbles add a creamy texture that balances its bright acidity. This makes it an excellent companion for fresh seafood dishes such as oysters or shrimp, where its freshness enhances delicate flavors. It also pairs beautifully with Manchego cheese; the wine’s acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese while complementing its nutty undertones for a harmonious bite.Producer Information: Bodegas PinordBodegas Pinord is based in Vilafranca del Penedès, within the heart of Catalonia’s celebrated wine region in Spain.
