Tasting Notes and Characteristics:The first sip of Château de Bonhoste Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge wraps you in a velvet embrace, its deep garnet hue hinting at the richness within. Crafted in the heart of France, this Bordeaux blend reveals layers of ripe blackcurrant and plum, accented by subtle notes of cedar and a whisper of tobacco leaf. With an alcohol by volume of 14.00%, it offers both structure and elegance, making each glass feel like an occasion. The supple tannins and balanced acidity create a seamless match for roasted lamb or the nutty complexity of aged Gouda, elevating every bite with its lingering finish. This wine captures the essence of Bordeaux’s classic terroir—expressive fruit, gentle oak influence, and a sense of place that lingers long after your last taste.Producer Information: Vignobles FournierVignobles Fournier, rooted in the heart of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, traces its origins to the early 20th century when the Fournier family began cultivating vines in Saint-Émilion and its surrounding appellations. Their approach centers on sustainable viticulture and meticulous parcel selection, reflecting a deep respect for the diverse terroirs of Bordeaux, particularly those with clay-limestone soils that impart structure and finesse to their wines. Beyond their flagship Saint-Émilion Grand Cru offerings, Vignobles Fournier also produces expressive Merlot-driven cuvées from Montagne-Saint-Émilion and supple Cabernet Franc blends from Lussac-Saint-Émilion, each crafted to highlight the unique microclimates of these satellite villages. Their portfolio extends into limited-production rosés and crisp white Bordeaux blends that showcase Sauvignon Blanc’s aromatic vibrancy alongside Sémillon’s texture, all unified by a philosophy prioritizing balance and authenticity over intervention.
