Tasting Notes and Characteristics:Carpano Vermouth Antica 1L offers a rich, velvety mouthfeel that makes it an ideal choice for slow sipping or as the backbone of a classic cocktail. With an ABV of 16.5%, this Italian vermouth is crafted using a blend of carefully selected wines and botanicals, following traditional methods that date back to Turin’s storied history in aromatized wine production. Its deep amber hue and complex character make it perfect for elevating any gathering or quiet evening. On the palate, Carpano Antica delivers layers of vanilla, dried orange peel, baking spices, and subtle bitter herbs balanced by sweet notes reminiscent of raisins and cocoa. These flavors pair beautifully with charcuterie boards featuring blue cheese; the vermouth’s herbal complexity cuts through the richness while its sweetness complements the tangy creaminess of the cheese. The interplay between savory meats and bold cheeses finds harmony with each sip, making this vermouth a versatile companion for gourmet appetizers.Producer Information: Fratelli Branca DistillerieFratelli Branca Distillerie is based in Milan, Italy, and was founded in 1845 by Bernardino Branca.
