Tasting Notes and Characteristics:A sip of Banfi Grappa 750ml instantly awakens the senses with its crystalline clarity and vibrant, aromatic lift, evoking sun-drenched Italian vineyards at harvest. Crafted in Italy from select grape pomace, this grappa delivers a lively bouquet of white flowers, ripe orchard fruit, and a subtle herbal edge that lingers on the palate. With an alcohol by volume of 40.00%, it offers both warmth and finesse, making each taste both invigorating and smooth. Banfi Grappa finds its perfect match alongside dark chocolate or aged cheese—the spirit’s clean finish accentuates bittersweet cocoa notes while cutting through the richness of mature cheeses for a truly memorable pairing experience.Producer Information: BanfiBanfi was established in 1978 by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani in Montalcino, Tuscany, with a vision to craft premium wines rooted in the region’s rich viticultural heritage. The estate is situated on the southern slopes of Montalcino, where the unique microclimate and diverse soils foster optimal conditions for Sangiovese and other varietals. Banfi’s philosophy centers on sustainable agriculture and innovative winemaking techniques, such as clonal research and gravity-flow wineries that preserve grape integrity. Beyond their celebrated Brunello di Montalcino, Banfi produces a range of Super Tuscan blends from their Castello Banfi estate as well as sparkling wines from Piedmont under the Banfi Piemonte label. Their portfolio also includes grappa distilled from estate pomace and traditional vermouths crafted with botanicals sourced from northern Italy, reflecting a commitment to both regional expression and category diversity.
