Process & Profile
America First Grenade Bourbon Whiskey is a 94-proof straight bourbon distilled in Indiana and presented in a distinctive 350mL grenade-shaped glass bottle. Released as Batch 47, the bottle combines a collectible presentation with a high-rye bourbon recipe designed to deliver more spice and structure than a traditional low-rye bourbon.
The brand officially identifies the Batch 47 mash bill as 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley. That substantial rye content complements bourbon’s natural caramel and vanilla sweetness with additional baking spice, grain, and peppery character. The whiskey is aged in American oak casks before bottling at 47% ABV (94 proof).
Its unusual grenade bottle makes this release especially suited to collectors, gifts, bar displays, and shoppers searching for distinctive whiskey bottles without sacrificing the character of a full-strength American straight bourbon.
