Available now at World of Whiskey Shop, this expression begins with Sagamore’s signature blend of straight rye whiskies—combining a high-rye and a low-rye mash bill—aged to perfection in charred American oak barrels. The aged rye is then transferred into hand-selected French oak casks that previously held sweet, golden Sauternes wine from Bordeaux. During this extended finishing period, the spirit absorbs the decadent fruit sweetness, honeyed floral notes, and delicate wood tannins embedded deep within the wine-soaked staves.
In the glass, it displays a radiant, glowing golden-amber color with rich, clinging legs.
