John J. Bowman Single Barrel Straight Bourbon
Straight Bourbon Whiskey | 50% ABV (100 Proof) | 750mL
Process & Profile
John J. Bowman Single Barrel Bourbon is a meticulously crafted expression from Virginia’s A. Smith Bowman Distillery. The bourbon begins with distillate sourced from Buffalo Trace in Kentucky, which is then shipped to Virginia and distilled a third time in Bowman’s copper still named “Mary.” After triple distillation, the whiskey is aged in new, charred American oak barrels—typically between 9 and 11 years—before being hand-selected barrel by barrel for bottling. This process yields a balanced, full-bodied bourbon with both depth and elegance.
