Process & Profile
Blanton’s Single Barrel Red Takara Japanese Edition Bourbon 750mL is a rare export release from the iconic Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon lineup. Originally created for the Japanese market, this collectible edition offers a softer, more refined take on Blanton’s while still delivering the rich single barrel character that made the brand famous.
Produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery, Blanton’s is known as the original single barrel bourbon and is aged in Warehouse H, a metal-clad rickhouse recognized for its unique maturation conditions. The Red Takara Japanese Edition is bottled at 93 proof and is often associated with extra aging compared to the standard U.S. Blanton’s expression, giving it added depth, oak structure, and polished sweetness.
Blanton’s Red Takara Japanese Edition delivers a balanced profile of honey, vanilla, caramel, orchard fruit, citrus, baking spice, toasted oak, and gentle rye spice. Its collectible red packaging, Japanese-market positioning, and 750mL bottle format make it a standout bottle for Blanton’s collectors, Buffalo Trace fans, and rare bourbon displays.
