IntroductionThe Genuine Curaçao Liqueur Triple Sec 750ml — 31% or 40% ABV — Curaçao. Handcrafted in the historic Landhuis Chobolobo, this liqueur is widely recognized as the only truly authentic Curaçao in the world. It is exclusively made from the sun-dried peels of the “Laraha” orange, a bitter citrus fruit native only to the island of Curaçao. This meticulously distilled spirit honors a 19th-century family recipe, capturing a unique harmony of powerful citrus oils and delicate sweetness. The result is a premium triple sec that bridges the gap between traditional botanical craftsmanship and the demands of modern craft mixology.
HighlightsSenior & Co. is the only brand globally authorized to use the “Genuine” label, as it is the sole producer using native Laraha oranges grown on its own plantation. While standard triple secs are often made with generic orange essences, this expression is distilled in a 120-year-old copper pot still using a labor-intensive 17-day process. Available in its classic clear form, it is also produced in vibrant blue and orange hues to suit diverse cocktail aesthetics. Recognized for its purity and depth, it serves as a staple for connoisseurs seeking the authentic, “top-shelf” citrus character required for world-class cocktails.
Tasting NotesThis liqueur presents a crystal-clear appearance, signaling its traditional “white curaçao” heritage. On the nose, it opens with vibrant citrus peel, luscious orange blossom, and subtle floral notes. The palate reveals a clean, bright arrival of sweet orange zest layered with natural citrus oils and spice notes of clove and pepper that perfectly balance the fruit. The 40% ABV variant offers a more powerful, fuller-bodied experience with a pleasantly long-lasting warmth. Both versions conclude with a smooth, crisp finish that leaves a lingering freshness of pure orange. The Genuine
