The estate was established by a family with deep agricultural roots who transitioned from traditional farming to viticulture in the late twentieth century. Their production approach centers on sustainable vineyard management and minimal intervention winemaking, emphasizing organic practices and careful hand-harvesting to preserve grape integrity. The winery combines modern technology with time-honored techniques, allowing for precise temperature control during fermentation while maintaining respect for local terroir.Beyond their flagship Brunello di Montalcino, Collina dei Lecci produces a diverse portfolio that includes Rosso di Montalcino and IGT Toscana blends featuring Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. They also craft small batches of grappa distilled from estate grape pomace using traditional copper stills. In recent years, the producer has expanded into olive oil production from groves surrounding their vineyards and has experimented with limited-edition sparkling wines made via the Charmat method. This breadth reflects their commitment to showcasing Tuscan agricultural heritage through both classic wines and artisanal spirits.
