Tasting Notes and Characteristics:The first sip of Chateau Saut Tornezy 750ml is like a golden afternoon in the French countryside, where honeyed apricot and candied orange peel mingle with delicate floral notes, creating an irresistible sense of warmth and indulgence. Crafted in France with meticulous care typical of classic Sauternes, this luscious dessert wine boasts an ABV of 13.00%, striking a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness. Its opulent texture and vibrant acidity make it a sublime companion for rich Foie gras or pungent Blue cheese, elevating each bite with layers of ripe stone fruit, toasted almond, and subtle hints of saffron that linger gracefully on the palate.Producer Information: Chateau Saut TornezyChateau Saut Tornezy, nestled in the heart of Bordeaux’s Sauternes region, traces its roots to a family estate established in the late 19th century on gravelly soils overlooking the Garonne River. The estate’s philosophy centers on minimal intervention and sustainable viticulture, with hand-harvested Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes forming the backbone of their botrytized sweet wines. Their cellars employ traditional barrel aging to coax out nuanced layers of honeyed fruit and spice. Beyond their flagship Sauternes, Chateau Saut Tornezy crafts a limited-production dry white Bordeaux from old-vine Sauvignon Gris as well as a small batch Armagnac distilled from estate-grown Ugni Blanc, each reflecting the unique microclimate and terroir of southern Gironde.
