Chateau Mayne Turon Red 1.5L

Tasting Notes and Characteristics:From the first swirl, a warmth rises like a cozy evening by the fire, inviting you to sip and drift into ripe plum and cassis with a whisper of baking spice. Chateau Mayne Turon Red 1.5L is a French red wine built around a classic Bordeaux spirit, offering a balanced backbone of fruit and structure. It clocks in at ABV 13.50%, a confident yet approachable strength that supports straightforward red-wine character rather than overpowering it. The wine is produced through careful fermentation with temperature control and gentle aging, typically in oak or stainless steel to preserve fruit while adding subtle texture. It pairs beautifully with beef dishes or cheese boards, where the wine’s fruit carries the richness and its tannins tighten the edges, creating a harmonious bite.Producer Information: Château Mayne TuronChâteau Mayne Turon is a Bordeaux producer with roots in a family vineyard on the Left Bank, where the site’s revival after phylloxera set the stage for a lineage of hands-on viticulture and steady growth. The founding story centers on passing the craft through generations and maintaining a link to the soil, climate, and traditional methods that define the terroir. The estate emphasizes terroir expression and restrained oak in its wine philosophy, aiming for balance, natural acidity, and drinkability across vintages. Beyond the flagship red, the portfolio also includes a white Bordeaux and a rosé, both crafted to reflect regional character while offering a crisp alternative within the same house style.
