Tasting Notes and Characteristics:The first sip of Aberfeldy 15Yr Cadillac Wine Cask Single Malt wraps you in a warm embrace of honeyed heather and sun-dried apricots, with a gentle whisper of toasted oak lingering on the finish. Crafted in Scotland and matured for fifteen years, this single malt is elevated by its final rest in Cadillac wine casks, which impart subtle notes of ripe plum and spiced red berries. With an alcohol by volume of 43.00%, Aberfeldy 15Yr offers a balanced richness that stands up beautifully alongside duck or blue cheese, where its velvety texture and nuanced sweetness complement savory depth and creamy tang. This whisky is an invitation to slow down, savor complexity, and discover how tradition meets innovation in every glass.Producer Information: Dewar’sDewar’s, founded in 1846 by John Dewar in Perth, Scotland, has built its legacy on the art of blending fine Scotch whiskies. Rooted in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Dewar’s pioneered double aging—a process that allows their blended whiskies to rest together for extra smoothness and balance. This commitment to craftsmanship and innovation is evident in their signature White Label as well as aged expressions like Dewar’s 12 and 18 Year Old. Beyond whisky, Bacardi Limited owns Dewar’s and also produces other spirits such as Bombay Sapphire gin and Grey Goose vodka, each crafted with a focus on regional authenticity and category-leading quality.
