Kilchoman 100% Islay 14th Edition was distilled from the farm distillery’s 2013 and 2014 publican barley harvests, and matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks at a ratio of 9:1. Matured for a minimum of nine years, the whisky was bottled on site at 50% abv. Free from chill filtration and at natural colour.
Aromas of campfire smoke, citrus peel, and tropical fruits lead to a palate of creamy caramelised sugar, vanilla, lemon, pineapple, ginger and oak smoke. The finish is oily and textured with sherry notes and lasting peat smoke.
