Celebrate 100 years of House of Suntory with this limited edition Yamazaki 18 Year Old featuring a special new label design in honour of Suntory’s strive for quality and ingenuity, grounding them in Japanese culture.
The rare Yamazaki 18 Year Old 100th Anniversary Release showcases the distinctive beauty of Japanese Mizunara oak, after being matured solely in casks made from the signature enhancer of Yamazaki. With a name meaning “mountain cape” in reference to its secluded location, Yamazaki is Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii. Presented at 43% abv.
Expect rich aromas of dark cherry and stone fruits, followed by delicate spice. This continues after the first sip, with subtle flavours of cinnamon and plenty of fragrant Japanese incense leading to a long and lingering finish full of clove and sandalwood.
