Uncle Nearest Toasted Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey | Single Barrel | Toasted Barrel Finish | 750mL
Process & Profile
Uncle Nearest Toasted Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey is a limited edition release from Nearest Green Distillery, honoring the legacy of Nearest Green, the pioneering master distiller who helped define Tennessee whiskey through the charcoal mellowing process more than 160 years ago. This expression is produced using traditional maple charcoal filtration, a defining hallmark of Tennessee whiskey, before being aged in select toasted barrels to develop added depth, texture, and balance.
Each bottle comes from an individual barrel, allowing the toasted wood influence to shape the whiskey’s character naturally. Oversight by Victoria Eady Butler, four-time Master Blender of the Year and fifth-generation descendant of Nearest Green, ensures each barrel meets the distillery’s standards for smoothness, richness, and complexity.
