The English Distillery are always experimenting with new recipes and their latest release is a bourbon style recipe with top secret mash bill that includes locally-grown barley, rye and maize.
Why is it called Popcorn, you ask? Maize is also what’s used to make popcorn, and the high percentage of it in this whisky’s recipe gives it a distinctive, cinema-fresh flavour.
Expect lots of toffee apple, vanilla custard, rich toffee, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and honeycomb in this fun limited edition whisky, of which only 1500 bottles are available.
