Founded by Italian immigrant Santo Cambianica, the winery survived Prohibition by producing sacramental wines for local churches, a legacy that still shapes its community-focused philosophy today. Emphasizing traditional family methods alongside modern techniques, San Antonio Winery sources grapes from estate vineyards across Paso Robles and Monterey, allowing them to craft varietals that reflect the diverse terroir of Central and Southern California. Beyond their signature Stella Rosa line of semi-sweet wines, they also produce robust Cabernet Sauvignons under the Opaque label and offer specialty dessert wines like Cardinale American Marsala. Their portfolio extends into limited-edition spirits and artisanal vermouths that highlight their commitment to quality and regional character within Los Angeles’ urban wine scene.
