All the way from the Dominican Republic, Ron Barcelo Gran Platinum takes an altogether different approach to rum production. It is firstly aged in former bourbon casks, before undergoing a filtration process to remove the colour. The flavour is clean and rich, the slightest hint of toffee shining through.
