Available now at World of Whiskey Shop, this expressive release begins with hand-selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested from cool-climate Coastal California vineyards. After traditional fermentation, a significant portion of the blend is aged for 3 months in newly charred American oak barrels sourced from historic Kentucky bourbon distilleries. This inventive maturation process infuses the wine’s rich fruit structure with signature bourbon nuances of toasted vanilla, subtle smoke, and warm caramel.
In the glass, it displays a deep, dark ruby-red color with violet edges. The nose opens with an alluring bouquet of ripe blackberry, black cherry compote, and cassis, seamlessly layered with rich vanilla bean, charred oak, pipe tobacco, and toasted brown sugar. On the palate, a plush, full-bodied mouthfeel unleashes decadent flavors of dark plum, cocoa, sweet bourbon spice, and toasted maple, supported by soft, velvety tannins.
