Tasting Notes and Characteristics:The first sip of Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Bourbon wraps you in a warm, caramel embrace, with waves of vanilla and toasted oak unfolding across your palate. Crafted in the United States and bottled at 45.00% ABV, this bourbon balances rich notes of baked apple, pecan pie, and a hint of black pepper spice that lingers just long enough to invite another taste. Its bold yet smooth character makes it an ideal companion for smoky barbecue ribs or a square of dark chocolate, where the whiskey’s sweet corn undertones and rye-driven spice play off savory or bittersweet flavors beautifully. Whether enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up its complexity, Pipe Dream Bourbon delivers an authentic American whiskey experience that feels both comforting and adventurous.Producer Information: Redwood Empire WhiskeyRedwood Empire Whiskey, based in Sonoma County, California, draws inspiration from the towering redwoods of the Northern California coast and channels this sense of place into every bottle. Founded by Derek Benham in 2017 under the aegis of Purple Wine + Spirits, Redwood Empire set out to craft distinctive American whiskeys that reflect both local terroir and a commitment to sustainability, including a tree-planting initiative for every bottle sold. Their production style blends sourced aged whiskeys with their own distillate made from Northern California grains and pure coastal water, resulting in complex blends like Pipe Dream Bourbon and Lost Monarch Rye. Beyond whiskey, Purple Wine + Spirits also produces notable wines such as Raeburn Chardonnay and Scattered Peaks Cabernet Sauvignon, further cementing their reputation for quality beverages rooted in Sonoma’s rich agricultural landscape.
