Paul John XO Limited Edition Indian Grape Brandy is a bottle of cognac. An exceptional masterpiece from the tropical coasts of Goa, the Paul John XO is perhaps Indian’s answer to renowned Cognac and Armagnac. Created from the famous Ugni Blanc grapes this exotic brandy is matured for over 8 years in medium toasted new French limousine oak barrels especially selected for its alluring hints of vanilla. The consistent humidity of the region adds an intense maturity and flavour to the deep golden, amber liquid. Take in the sweetly honeyed aroma, deliciously resonating with fresh fig, apricot, strawberry liquorice, orange zest and a touch of herbs that brilliantly sets off the light butterscotch. Relish the sweet cranberry and the succulent rum raisin, and delight in the beautifully balanced yet delectably complex flavours. Finally, allow yourself to be led to a gloriously lengthy finish, intricately meshed with tremendous notes of sweet oak and an alluring natural caramel.
