New Louisville Whiskey Co.’s Redneck Sangria is a fiery single-barrel straight bourbon that’s been grabbing attention for its bold personality and unfiltered charm. Aged 8 years in heavily charred American oak and bottled at a whopping 133 proof, this batch (C502) is a full-throttle experience for those who crave intensity in their pour. Its nickname nods to its fruit-forward, rustic spirit—like sangria made for the back porch bourbon lover.
On the nose, it opens with jammy dark fruits, sweet oak, and a swirl of brown sugar and cinnamon. The palate hits with deep caramel, fig preserves, dark cherry, and molasses, layered over warming allspice. The finish lingers long and spicy, with toasted oak and a berry-rich fade that keeps you reaching for another sip. It’s best savored neat or with a splash of water to coax out even more depth.
ABV: 66.5%
