De Luze Infini Cognac
DE LUZE Infini is a rather recent premium Cognac by the house of Boinaud under the brand of De Luze. The blend embodies finest traditions of cognac-making, and is made from eaux-de-vie from the prestigious Grande Champagne region.. Infini is a blend of the finest cognac that has been carefully crafted to perfection Remi Boinaud, and his cousin Charles, the current heads of the family-owned company Boinaud.
The unique soil and ageing potential characteristics of the Grande Champagne growth area contribute to the exceptional quality and unique taste profile of DE LUZE Infini. The cognac has a beautiful golden-amber color with mahogany undertones, and is presented in a luxurious 2.23 kg crystal decanter coated with 24 carats of gold. It comes in a beautifully crafted wooden box with elegant dark components. Some tasting notes are: Floral notes of honeysuckle, jasmine and dried fruits, as well as spicy notes of cinnamon, cigar box and saffron. The woody notes of chocolate, aged port wine and cedar are revealed in the aftertaste. On the palate, DE LUZE Infini is rich and captivating, with complex flavors and balsamic notes reminiscent of Muscat wine. The finish is subtle and persistent, with a lingering taste that lasts for more than 30 minutes.
DE LUZE Infini is an exceptionally old Cognac, as the name already says: Infini stands for Endless (nice creative styles here, Boinaud). Whether you are a Cognac connoisseur or coming from the world of Single Malt Whisky: Infini is a must-try when it comes to elegant old Cognac, a must-have for any discerning cognac collector.
