The estate’s distinctive philosophy centers on meticulous vineyard management and a balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for reds, with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc leading their whites. Their gravelly soils impart a signature minerality that sets their wines apart within Graves. Beyond their flagship grand vin, Château Latour-Martillac also crafts a second wine called Lagrave-Martillac, which reflects both terroir-driven precision and accessibility. The estate’s commitment to sustainable viticulture further underscores its deep connection to Bordeaux’s southern terroir and its ongoing influence in shaping Pessac-Léognan’s reputation for both red and white wines.
