Composed of 133 select barrels crafted from Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon mash bill—78% corn, 13% rye, and 9% malted barley—this spirit has endured 18 full years of intense seasonal rackhouse shifts, extracting incredible depth, rich oak character, and velvety complexity from deep inside charred oak staves.
In the glass, it displays a deep, glowing mahogany hue with rich amber highlights. The nose opens with an inviting, complex bouquet of dark caramel, toasted oak, and old leather, layered over sweet notes of vanilla bean, dried dark fruits, and butterscotch. On the palate, a lush, full-bodied, and silky mouthfeel delivers expressive flavors of dark brown sugar, toasted walnut, dark chocolate, and orange oil, beautifully balanced by rye spice, cinnamon, and seasoned oak wood.
