After traditional fermentation to extract maximum color and flavor, a portion of the wine is aged for months in charred charred American oak bourbon barrels. This unique aging technique infuses the deep, full-bodied red wine with distinct whiskey characteristics, including rich vanilla, toasted caramel, and subtle charred oak complexity.
In the glass, it displays a deep, nearly opaque ruby-black color. The nose opens with a power-packed bouquet of dark blackberry jam, black cherry compote, and cassis, seamlessly intertwined with notes of sweet bourbon vanilla, charred oak, pipe tobacco, and warm baking spices.
