Made using 100% Espadín agave (Agave angustifolia) that has matured for 8 to 10 years in the sun-drenched Oaxacan valleys, the agave hearts (piñas) are cooked in traditional underground conical stone pits fired with oak wood. The cooked agave is then crushed by a horse-drawn copper-wheeled tahona, naturally fermented in pine wood vats, and double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills under the watchful eye of expert Maestros Mezcaleros.
In the glass, it pours crystal clear with brilliant clarity and bright silver viscosity.
