Blanton’s Straight from the Barrel 2174 Bourbon 121.4 Proof

This much sought-after Kentucky Bourbon is a multi award-winning expression from Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each bottle of Blanton’s Straight From the Barrel is drawn from a single cask and presented at natural cask strength, after being matured in the famous Warehouse H – the construction of which was overseen by distillery president Colonel Blanton himself! The label on each bottle notes the date of bottling, the barrel number, the warehouse it was matured in and even which rack the barrel was stored on.

This 2024 release has been matured within Single Barrel 2174, and bottled at a huge 60.7% abv. Expect dark chocolate, caramel, and earthy notes of walnut on the nose, leading to a palate full of warm vanilla, oak, toasted nuts and a rich spiciness with hints of butterscotch or honey.
