Pure & Rustic VSOP
Bache Gabrielsen’s Pure & Rustic VSOP has been crafted from a blend of 75% Fins Bois and 25% Borderies eaux-de-vie, and allowed to mature in Limousin oak barrels for around eight years. It is an unusual terroir combination that results in a fresh, elegant and contemporary Cognac. Created by the Cellar Master of Bache Gabrielsen, Jean-Philippe Bergier, this modern and distinctively light spirit has been referred to as a “Scandinavian Cognac”.
Bache-Gabrielsen Cognac House was founded in 1905 by Norwegian, Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen and is now managed by his great-grandson, Herve Bache-Gabrielsen, several generations on. Cellar Master, Jean-Philippe Bergier has worked in close collaboration with several experienced distillers to produce the Pure & Rustic range, which invites you to experience a light and fresh style of Cognac that is associated with rustic life in the region.
