Godet XO Terre Cognac
X.O. TERRE IS THE GODET ART OF COGNAC AT ITS FINEST: THE OLDEST AND MOST COMPLEX COGNAC.
Experience the art of cognac at its finest with Godet XO Terre – the oldest and most complex cognac – it’s the taste that truly sets Godet XO Terre apart. This exceptional blend is a tribute to the best 80,000 acres of the Cognac vineyard, featuring a unique blend of six cognac wines: Grand Champagne, Bon Bois, Fins Bois, Petite Champagne, Bois Ordinaires, and Borderies.
For each of these terroirs, Godet carefully selects the finest eaux de vie, aged in oak barrels for between 10 and 30 years. The result is an unconventional blend of outstanding cognac that is bottled in only a few dozen barrels every year.
Presentation of the Decanter
The round decanter, cut in the form of Atlantic waves, is a symbol of Godet’s maritime culture and the great seafaring expeditions of the past. Being slowly aged in oak barrels in the coastal cellars of Godet in La Rochelle, gives it a natural bright golden color with a deep mahogany hue that is as inviting as it is beautiful. There are the options to have this Cognac in a glass decanter or a white ceramic decanter.
How to drink
There are many ways to enjoy this exquisite XO. As it has been aged for over 30 years, it’s best to enjoy it neat, so you can truly enjoy the best that all 6 terroirs have to offer in one single glass.
The rich flavors found in this Cognac equally make it the ideal digestif after a meal, perhaps following a rich chocolate mousse, the earthy, leathery tones of the Cognac will perfectly complement the sweet, unctuous nature of this luxurious dessert.
