An Ancestral Cognac and ode to the Premier Cru
From its beginnings in the ancient hills of the Grande Champagne terroir, abound with natural beauty, the Maxime Trijol Ancestral Cognac is a testament to the House’s humble mastery, where tradition takes pride of place. Between the famed purity of the cru’s chalk soil and the maritime climate, this cognac benefits from a blend of the finest Ugni Blanc grapes.
A sip of this exquisite cognac is a journey through time, as the name ‘ancestral’ suggests that this eau-de-vie stands amongst some of the oldest around and may be made from a blend of harvests ranging from 30-100 years old. This chef d’oeuvre has a remarkable depth of flavor, characteristic of the third rancio stage; opening with accords of peach, marmalade and orange peel. In a perfect expression of Grande Champagne opulence, the cognac develops into mature vanilla ice cream, toffee and nuts on the palate.
