Kentucky Peerless Double Oak Bourbon
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey | Barrel Proof (≈54% ABV) | Non–Chill Filtered | NAS
Process & Profile
Peerless Double Oak Bourbon was born from an accident—leaky barrels prompted the team to transfer whiskey into a second new charred oak barrel. This double-oak treatment doubles the wood’s influence, creating bold depth and complexity. Using a sweet mash method, Peerless handles all production—from grain to bottle—in Louisville, Kentucky. The bourbon is barrel-proof, non-chill-filtered, and bottled at variable strengths typically between 107–110 proof.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet oak layers with orange zest, cherry, cedar, caramel, and dried tobacco.
Palate: Honeyed richness gives way to cinnamon, spicy oak, leather, and traces of cocoa.
Finish: Long, rich, and well-textured with toasted oak notes lingering over sweet undertones.
