Tasting Notes and Characteristics:Redbreast Kentucky Oak Edition greets the palate with a rich, full-bodied warmth that makes it perfect for savoring on a cool evening or sharing during special gatherings. Bottled at 50.5% ABV, this single pot still Irish whiskey is crafted in Ireland and finished in American oak casks sourced from Kentucky, which imparts a unique twist to its traditional character. The whiskey opens with inviting aromas of vanilla, toasted oak, and subtle baking spices. On the tongue, you’ll find layers of honeyed malt, orchard fruits like apple and pear, and a gentle hint of caramelized nuts. These flavors pair beautifully with roast pork by complementing its savory richness and also enhance the sharpness of aged cheddar through their sweet-spice balance.Producer Information: Irish DistillersIrish Distillers is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with its primary distillery located in Midleton, County Cork.
