Tasting Notes and Characteristics:Creamy citrus and ripe orchard fruit make Bonanza Chardonnay instantly inviting, with a generous United States profile that leans into golden apple, lemon curd, pear, and a soft touch of vanilla-like richness typical of expressive Chardonnay. With an ABV of 14.50%, this white wine has enough body and freshness to feel satisfying without losing its bright, food-friendly edge. Serve it slightly chilled with roast chicken, where its texture complements crisp skin and savory herbs, or pair it with lobster to bring out the wine’s buttery fruit and clean citrus lift.Producer Information: Bonanza Wine CompanyBonanza Wine Company was founded in California by Chuck Wagner of the Wagner family, whose Napa Valley roots trace back to farming and winemaking in Rutherford before the creation of Caymus Vineyards in 1972. Built around a California Cabernet Sauvignon style rather than a single-estate model, Bonanza reflects Wagner’s belief that character can come from carefully chosen vineyards across the state, not only from famous appellations, with a focus on ripe fruit, supple texture, and immediate drinkability. Its production style is practical and terroir-aware, blending coastal and inland California sources to deliver a consistent Cabernet profile that sits firmly in the everyday premium wine category. Through the Wagner Family of Wine, the broader portfolio also includes Caymus, Mer Soleil, Conundrum, Emmolo, and Sea-Sun, spanning Napa Cabernet, Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay, expressive white blends, Merlot, sparkling wine, and California Pinot Noir.
