Nikka Whisky From The Barrel 102.8 Proof is a bold, high-proof Japanese whisky celebrated for its intensity, balance, and compact yet powerful presentation. Produced by Nikka Whisky, this iconic blend marries single malt and grain whiskies before being re-casked for additional harmony and depth, then bottled at 51.4% ABV (102.8 proof).
On the nose, it opens with aromas of dried fruit, caramel, vanilla, and baking spice, layered with subtle oak and a touch of citrus. The palate is rich and full-bodied, delivering flavors of toffee, dark chocolate, candied orange peel, clove, and gentle smoke. Despite its higher proof, it remains remarkably balanced and smooth. The finish is long and warming, with lingering spice, oak, and a hint of sweetness.
Compact in size but powerful in character, Nikka From The Barrel is ideal for sipping neat, enjoying with a splash of water, or using in elevated whisky-forward cocktails. Its bold profile and refined craftsmanship make it a standout choice for whisky enthusiasts shopping at theliquorstore.com.
