After 2007’s hot spring and a fairly wet summer, the Champagne was allowed a very long maturation. As the name suggests, it was disgorged and then released fairly soon after, and even features the disgorgement date on the label, which has been designed as a homage to the first R.D. release – the 1952 vintage, unveiled in 1967.Bollinger R.D. 2007 Champagne Tasting NotesNose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.Palate: Crisp plum and pear, caraway, warming ginger, toasted bread, milk chocolate, hazelnut, Granny Smith apples.Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.
