Distillery Information
Rare Character Whiskey Company was founded with a focus on selecting and releasing exceptional American whiskeys that emphasize individuality and quality over mass production. Rather than distilling at a single facility, the company sources outstanding barrels from respected producers, particularly in Kentucky, and bottles them at optimal maturity and strength. Their philosophy centers on minimal intervention, allowing each barrel’s natural character to shine without dilution or chill filtration. Rare Character has quickly gained recognition among enthusiasts for its transparency, bold cask strength releases, and carefully curated single barrels and batches. Each release is intended to represent a unique snapshot of American whiskey craftsmanship. Limited Release Batch #3 exemplifies this approach, offering a powerful and expressive rye that appeals to collectors and serious rye whiskey fans alike.
