Bottled in limited quantities each year, Lagg distillery’s Corriecravie Edition is initally matured in bourbon barrels before being treated to a six month finish in Oloroso sherry hogshead casks. Made with concerto barley, and water from Lagg’s own borehole, the peated single malt has been bottled at 55.0% abv. Free from chill filtration.
Expect aromas of dark chocolate and red berries, with a rich and mouth-watering palate of charred embers and hazelnut. The finish brings together charred oak, smoke, hazelnut, dark chocolate and sweet spice for a glorious close.
