This Ginjo-grade Umeshu from Akashi Sake Brewery is a plum sake bottled at 14% ABV. Beautifully suited as a dessert wine, it pairs especially well with cooked fruits, mince pies, Christmas pudding, Bakewell tart, and vanilla ice cream.
Expect aromas of dried fruit, cherry, and plum, with a sweet, richly layered palate of prune and almond and a refreshingly clean finish.
